Much Wenlock and Cressage Medical Practice to top the agenda at Much Wenlock and Shipton LJC meeting
GPs from the Much Wenlock and Cressage Medical Practice will attend the next Much Wenlock and Shipton Local Joint Committee (LJC) meeting at Shipton Village Hall on Wednesday 20 July 2016 at 7pm to talk to residents about health matters.
This is the second time that the LJC has invited the doctors to attend, and at the last meeting they spoke about how they continually strive to improve their service and some of the challenges they face.
Councillor David Turner, chair of the LJC, said:-
“I am pleased that, once again, our local doctors have agreed to attend the LJC meeting to talk to residents and give them the opportunity to hear about important health topics. Over 40 people turned out to listen to our GPs last time and I hope the subject will prove to be just as appealing this time.”
An officer from highways will also be in attendance to give an update on ongoing traffic management issues in the area.
Free transport to and from Shipton Village Hall will be provided, and residents should contact The Friendly Bus on 01952 881145 to arrange.
