The next meeting of Albrighton area Local Joint Committee (LJC) will be on Wednesday 18 March 2015 in the Lounge Bar room at The Red House, Albrighton from 7pm-9pm.

This meeting will take the form of an open ‘drop-in’ surgery.  The public are invited to come and meet local councillors and raise issues of concern relating to the local area.  The meeting format will be informal in order to allow any issues to or concerns to be raised.

Also present will be representatives from the local police team and fire service who will be available to speak to the public for the first half hour of the session.

Councillor Malcolm Pate, chair of the LJC, said:

“This is a really important community meeting and everyone’s invited to come along and raise issues directly with their councillors.  We will try to answer as many questions as we can on the night, but can also seek out answers from officers at a later date if appropriate.

“This is your opportunity to speak to your local councillors direct about the issues that concern you.  Why not come along and take part if you have issues that you want to raise and have your say.”
