The next meeting of the Shifnal and Sheriffhales Local Joint Committee (LJC) will be held on Tuesday 17 March 2015 at The Old Fire Station, Shrewsbury Road, Shifnal, TF11 8AQ from 7pm – 9pm.

This meeting will take the form of an open ‘drop-in’ surgery.  The public are invited to come to meet with local councillors and raise issues of concern relating to the local area.  The meeting format will be informal in order to allow any issues to or concerns to be raised.

Also present will be representatives from the local police team and fire service who will be available to speak to the public for the first half hour of the session.

Bob Vincent from the Shifnal Neighbourhood Plan group will also be around from 7pm-7.30pm for anyone who wishes to get an update on progress being made and work to date.

Councillor Kevin Turley, chair of the LJC, said:

“This is a really important community meeting and everyone’s invited to come along and raise issues directly with their councillors.  We will try to answer as many questions as we can on the night, but can also seek out answers from officers at a later date if appropriate.  This is your opportunity to speak to your local councillors direct about the issues that concern you.  Why not come along and take part if you have issues that you want to raise, and have your say.”
