Residents of Broseley and Barrow are invited to the next Broseley and Barrow Local Joint Committee meeting to discuss traffic and highway matters in the Broseley and Barrow area and consider the loss of youth sessions in the town.

Officers from Shropshire Council will be speaking about traffic matters and the meeting will also be able to hear from Richard Parkes of Shropshire Council, who will be talking about changes to the way youth provision is delivered locally.

Cllr Jean Jones, who chairs the meeting, said:

“There are concerns locally regarding HGVs, speeding and other traffic related issues and many people are dismayed at the current lack of funding for youth activities.  I will be interested to hear the views of officers and of local residents on these matters.”

The meeting is to be held at the Victoria Hall, Broseley at 7.00pm on Wednesday 4 February 2015. Members of the Local Policing Team will also be in attendance to listen to any concerns or issues.
