Ludlow Nut Company enjoys rapid expansion thanks to business grant
The Ludlow Nut Company, based on the Ludlow Eco Park, is rapidly expanding, picking up larger contracts and moving into new market areas thanks to a grant from the Business Enterprise Fund.
The Fund is European funding, that is administered by Shropshire Council.
Steve Charmley, Shropshire Council’s Cabinet member for business growth, said:
“Shropshire Council is pleased to invest Business Enterprise Fund grants in companies like the Ludlow Nut Company. They are ambitious, employing local people and using local suppliers where possible. The Ludlow Nut Company benefit the Shropshire economy, so we are delighted to support them.”
Robert Graham, Director at the Ludlow Nut Company, said:
“The grant has helped us to buy machinery, enabling us to invest and pick up larger contracts and expand our range. It has helped the business grow.”
