Business grant helps Ludlow arts company attract new customers
A Ludlow-based arts company has improved its internal lighting and conditions to encourage a wider array of customers to use the building, thanks to a business grant from Shropshire Council.
Appletree, based in Ludlow, offers an array of services including theatre space, meeting rooms, office space and creative services, and has benefited from a grant from the Business Enterprise Fund, EU funding which is administered by Shropshire Council.
Carl Walker, Director, said:
“The BEF grant has helped us to invest in the building and to realise new income streams, essential to a business like ours.”
Steve Charmley, Shropshire Council’s Cabinet member for business growth, said:
“Appletree, with their studio venue in Ludlow, offers an array of services and Shropshire Council are delighted to invest in them as they build their services and customer base. We hope they continue to grow.”
