Oswestry Library and Community Hub – Update

The consultation results of the proposed hub development at Oswestry Library are now on display in both the library and community hub. This forms part of Shropshire Council’s continuing efforts to look finding creative and cost effective ways to ensure that buildings are being used to their full potential.

The current intention is to start the process of reconfiguring the lower library space in light of the results of the consultation in the next two weeks. It is hoped that this will address many of the concerns customers have but also expand the use of the Library Hub. There will be a day of disruption Thursday 23 October when the library will be closed for the health and safety of customers.
