Come along to the Big Chinwag event in St Martins

Shropshire Towns and Rural Housing are encouraging residents in and around St Martins to come along for a cuppa, a cake and a chinwag at Cedar Close, St Martins near Oswestry on Tuesday 17 June 2014.

The event, from 2pm to 4pm, is part of the national Big Chinwag campaign, led by Age UK, which is all about getting everyone talking to each other and raising money to tackle loneliness among older people.

There will be cakes and refreshments on sale, as well as plants and a prize bingo.  All proceeds will go to Big Chinwag fund to help give vital support to older people.

Shropshire Towns and Rural Housing will also be on hand to talk about supported housing services.
