Craven Arms and Rural LJC on 19 March

Related topics: Community / Democracy

The Craven Arms and Rural Local Joint Committee (LJC) has an interesting meeting planned for Wednesday 19 March 2014 at Craven Arms Bowls Club at 7pm.

The main item for discussion will be what happens next with the LJC and what the future work of the committee may be.

In addition representatives from Shropshire Council and Grow, Cook, Learn, will be in attendance to give a brief update on the relocation of the library, the plans for Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre, and local flooding and highways issues.

Councillor David Evans, chairman of the committee, said:

All of the topics for discussion are important to us all in the town and the surrounding parishes.  Please come along and hear about the changes, and contribute to the discussion.”

The meeting will also include an update from the Craven Arms local Safer Neighbourhood Team regarding local crime and safety, and news and events from the parishes that form the LJC.

Everyone is welcome to attend the meeting and to take part in the discussions.
