Buttercross and Hampton Loade guided walk

Shropshire Council’s ranger service is inviting people to come on a guided walk near Hampton Loade at the Severn Valley Country Park. The walk is on Thursday 12 September 2013 from 10am-3pm.

The guided walk is six miles, taking in the ancient Buttercross and wonderful views across the valley, crossing the River Severn on the historic foot ferry, before returning to the park.

Please bring a packed lunch, walking boots and waterproof clothing.

Meet at the Visitor Centre and Teashop, which is open Wednesdays to Sunday 11am to 4pm and every day during school holidays.

The walk charge is £3 adults, £1.50 children.  Ferry fare is separate – £1 adults, 50p children, 25p dogs.
