Traffic lights damaged in Shrewsbury

Traffic lights at the junction of Smithfield Road and Raven Meadows in Shrewsbury have been damaged in a recent accident, potentially causing delays in the area.

A car collided with the traffic lights on Wednesday night (15 May 2013), and although the lights are still working, they are currently running slower than normal.

Engineers have been out to assess the damage and it is hoped they will be fully operational by the weekend (18-19 May 2013).
