Safety work almost complete in Cross Street, Oswestry

Cross Street in Oswestry is due to reopen to traffic at 4pm on Thursday 4 April 2013, following work to make the guttering on some buildings safe.

Work has now been completed to repair the guttering above the Red Cross shop and Co-Op Travel, and work on the Dorothy Perkins building is being carried out on Wednesday evening (3 April 2013).

All scaffolding, other than above the entrance to Coral bookmakers, is due to be removed on Thursday.

The road – which has restricted vehicle access as a matter of course – is due to open on Thursday at 4pm.
