Bank holiday changes to waste collections

Shropshire Council and their waste contractor Veolia are reminding residents that there will be no collections of household rubbish, garden waste or recycling on Monday 6 May 2013 due to the May Bank Holiday.
 
As a result, all waste and recycling collections will take place one day later than usual throughout the following week.

The revised collection schedule is as follows: 

  • Monday’s collections will take place on Tuesday 7 May
  • Tuesday’s collections will take place on Wednesday 8 May
  • Wednesday’s collections will take place on Thursday 9 May
  • Thursday’s collections will take place on Friday 10 May
  • Friday’s collections will take place on Saturday 11 May
