Come along and speak to your councillors at Albrighton Area LJC
The next meeting of the Albrighton Area Local Joint Committee (LJC) is on Wednesday 21 November 2012 at The Red House, Albrighton, starting at 7pm.
On the agenda are updates on proposals for highway improvements to Bowling Green Lane, and a position statement on the SAMDEV process. Members of the local policing team will be there to discuss issues of concern, and the parish council representatives will give an update on their neighbourhood planning project currently underway.
Also on the agenda is the consideration of grant applications for the remaining budget for this financial year.
Chairman of the LJC, Councillor Malcolm Pate, said:
“This is your opportunity to speak to your local councillors and council officers about the issues that concern you. Why not come along and take part if you have issues that you want to raise?
“This is a really important community meeting and everyone’s invited to come along and join in with discussions; we will try to answer as many questions as we can on the night. To enable all the community to get involved, the venue for this committee alternates around the area. The meeting is being held at The Red House, Albrighton this time – so put the date in your diary and come along and have your say.”
