Get involved with Highley Local Joint Committee

Shropshire Council is encouraging local people to come along to the next Highley Local Joint Committee (LJC) to talk about the issues that matter to them. 

The meeting will take place on Wednesday 25 July 2012 at 7pm at the Severn Centre in Highley. 

The committee is made up of two Shropshire councillors and two representatives from Highley Parish Council. 

Councillor Mary Nicholls, Chair of Highley LJC, said:

“At the meeting on 25 July, Highley LJC will be considering applications for funding from our £7,000 allocation.   The LJC will also receive a presentation on the role of the new Police Commissioners, and on ip&e group, Shropshire Council’s new company.  The local policing team will be available from 6.30pm.”
