The next meeting of Meole, Sutton and Column Local Joint Committee (LJC) is being held on Tuesday 22 May 2012 at 7pm at Shrewsbury College, London Road.  The meeting is taking place in the common room by the main reception.

On the agenda at this meeting is another opportunity to hear an overview of information on the preferred options consultation on potential development site allocations for Preston Street, London Road, Longden Road and Mousecroft Lane.  There will also be information on the Shrewsbury south sustainable urban extension along Oteley Road.   Dave Wallace will be on hand to update and answer questions.

Also on the agenda will be updates from the local policing team, along with a chance for residents to raise points in public question time.

The exhibition on the London Road highway improvements consultation will also be available to view.  The consultation is still open and people are encouraged to come and give their views on the proposals.

Shropshire Councillor Mike Owen, Chair of the LJC committee, said:

“I encourage people to come along to the meeting as it offers a great opportunity to find out and share information on important matters for the Meole, Sutton and Column LJC area.”
