New home compost bin scheme for Shropshire

Shropshire Council and their contractor Veolia Environmental Services (UK) Ltd are urging residents to bag a bargain home compost bin.

The council has just signed up to a new national framework contract with UK manufacturer Straight to provide discount compost bins to people in Shropshire.

In partnership with Telford and Wrekin Council, this deal is also available across the whole of the county too.

Bins are available from the preferred supplier Straight from just £16 (which is half the recommended retail price of £32).  There is also currently a special offer of Buy One Get One Half Price, which makes them even better value.

There is a wide selection of products available including plastic and wooden compost bins, wormeries, kitchen digesters and other accessories.   All products are delivered direct to people’s door.
