The following planning applications will be considered by Shropshire Council’s central planning committee at its meeting at Shirehall, Shrewsbury on Thursday 5 April 2012, starting at 2pm.

  1. Construction and operation of a fuel store for the storage of wood pellets. Location: Ironbridge Power Station, Buildwas.
  2. Erection of an extension to existing superstore, erection of 3 bank units and ancillary works following demolition of 5 existing units. Location: Tesco Extra Store, Battlefield Road, Shrewsbury.
  3. Change of use from drinking establishment to C3 dwelling houses to include erection of eight 2 bed terrace properties, associated car parking, landscaping following demolition of the existing public house and first floor residential accommodation. Location: The Fox Inn, Hereford Road, Bayston Hill.
  4. Erection of a wind turbine with a hub height of 36.4m with 3 9.6m blades (tip height 46m). Location: Lower House Farm, Cardeston, Ford.
  5. Residential development of 15 dwellings with associated garages following demolition of existing buildings; formation of new vehicular access and estate roads. Location: Oak Street Head, Shrewsbury.
  6. Erection of a pavilion following demolition of existing pavilion. Location: Shrewsbury College Of Arts And Technology, London Road, Shrewsbury.
  7. Placement of tables and chairs directly outside the frontage of the existing building. Location: The Armoury, Victoria Quay, Shrewsbury.
  8. Erection of 3 temporary office buildings and associated car parking. Location: County Highways Depot, 107 Longden Road, Shrewsbury.
  9. Re-instatement of the building line to include extensions to existing properties; replacement of shop fronts to the ground floor of the elevation to The Square; amalgamation of units 13, 14 and 16. Location: Princess House, Princess Street, Shrewsbury.
  10. Redevelopment of Riverside and other shopping centres. Location: Smithfield Road, Shrewsbury.
