There will be new information boards for visitors to gain a better understanding of life on a Victorian upland farm from, more opportunities for play for younger visitors, and other improvements to help make a visit to the farm a really great experience.

Mike Owen, Shropshire Council’s Cabinet member for economic growth and prosperity, said:-

“Acton Scott Historic Working Farm offers so much for visitors of all ages.  I’d encourage residents and visitors to visit the farm and remind themselves of just what a wonderful attraction and resource we have on our doorstep.”

Cecilia Motley, Shropshire Councillor for Corvedale, which includes the parish of Acton Scott, added:-

“We are very proud of the success Acton Scott Historic Working Farm has brought to Shropshire; we hope many people come along and take part, and enjoy what is one of the county’s best known farms.”
