Spring photographic competition at Severn Valley Country Park
Do you consider yourself the next David Bailey? Is your passion heading outdoors with your camera? Are you always looking for that perfect picture? If so, Shropshire Council want to hear from you.
2012 marks the 20th anniversary of Severn Valley Country Park near Alveley. To celebrate this milestone, Shropshire Council staff at the park are launching a spring photographic competition.
The photos will be judged by a local expert and the best entries will be displayed at an event in the Visitor Centre on Saturday 23 June 2012 to mark the anniversary of this Green Flag Award-winning site.
- The theme is Spring at Severn Valley Country Park. Photos must have been taken on the park
- Photos must be taken between 1 March 2012 and 31 May 2012
- Only 6×8 inch prints will be accepted (colour or black and white)
- £1 per photo to enter
- Winner gets £30 photographic voucher
- All entries to be handed in at the Severn Valley Country Park Visitor Centre, Alveley
- Closing date for entries is Saturday 9 June 2012
