Welti roundabout in Shrewsbury update

Shropshire Council would like to inform drivers that the current road improvement scheme work at the new Welti roundabout Sundorne Road /Featherbed Lane and on the B5067 towards the Uffington junction, is being extended into next week.

The extension is due to problems with the resurfacing caused by weather.  Consequently, there will be closures on the above roads on Monday 17 October 2011 and Tuesday 18 October 2011 between 7pm and 6am overnight, with a further the following week on the B5067.  The diversion routes are as previously stated.

During the work, the council is encouraging people to visit the businesses along this route as all of them remain open as usual.
