View images of Shropshire in days gone by

Shropshire Archives is inviting people to view and comment on a series of fascinating images depicting Shropshire life in the past.

Three sets of photos are available to view on the Shropshire Council Flickr account.

You can browse through a gallery of old images of Shropshire market towns, look at photos of leisure activities over the past 150 years, or see pictures of wintry Shropshire in years gone by.

These images are from the collections of Shropshire Archives and we are happy for you to share them, although anyone wishing to reuse an image for commercial purposes must first seek permission from Shropshire Archives on – archives@shropshire.gov.uk
