Family fun activities at The Quarry this Easter

Families with children under five years old are invited to a host of family fun activities this Easter at The Quarry in Shrewsbury on Thursday 14 April 2011.

The free event, led by Shropshire Council’s Sure Start Children Centre, will run from 11am to 2pm and will include soft play and sand playing, arts and craft activities on the Play Bus, followed by a walk around The Quarry.

Families are invited to bring a picnic and join us for fun activities.

The event is one of many activities the council’s Sure Start Children Centres organise to promote healthy lifestyles for families, and provides an opportunity for families and their children to socialise.
