Red Nose Day menu served

A special menu was served at the Column Restaurant at Shirehall in Shrewsbury on Friday 18 March, to mark Red Nose Day 2011.

The restaurant is open to Shropshire Council staff, and to members of the public.

The menu had a red theme, and includes bright red roasted pepper and tomato soup; beef and tomato lasagne; stuffed savoury red peppers; cherry tomato cheddar and spinach quiche, and much more.

Red nose cherry scones were also be on sale – with all profits going to Comic Relief. Diners were able to leave a donation in a collection box.

To further mark Red Nose Day, a giant red nose has also been placed on front of Shirehall in Shrewsbury.
