Fun-packed activities across Bridgnorth this Easter holiday

Children and young people throughout Bridgnorth and the surrounding area can look forward to fun-packed activities this Easter holiday, which runs from Monday 11 April 2011 to Thursday 21 April 2011.

The Reccy Rangers and Xtreme schemes run by Shropshire Council’s leisure services will be hosting a variety of activities throughout Bridgnorth.  All sessions are free of charge.

Reccy Rangers (for 4- to 12-year-olds) are designed to encourage free play by enabling children to choose what activities they would like to take part in from art activities, nature activities and favourite games such as Dodge Ball, Treasure Hunt and Fishy Fishy.  Reccy Ranger sessions will be held at the following locations:-

Monday 11 April

Stottesdon School fields – 10am-11.5am

Brown Clee School fields – 2pm-3.55pm

Tuesday 12 April

Worfield School fields – 10am-11.55am

Astley Abbotts Village Hall – 2pm-3.55pm

Wednesday 13 April

Chetton Village Hall – 10am-11.55am

Eardington Village Green – 2pm-3.55pm

Thursday 14 April

Birchmeadow Park, Broseley – 10am-11.55am

Alveley Village Hall – 2pm-3.55pm

Friday 15 April

Ackleton Village Hall – 10am-11.55am

Morville Playing Fields – 2pm-3.55pm

Monday 18 April

Norton Village Hall – 10am-11.55am

Beckbury School fields – 2pm-3.55pm

Tuesday 19 April

Quatt Village Hall – 10am-11.55am

Barrow Primary School fields – 2pm-3.55pm

Wednesday 20 April

Cleobury North Village Hall – 10am-11.55am

Claverley School fields – 2pm-3.55pm

Thursday 21 April

Brockton Primary School fields – 10am-11.55am

Wheatfield Recreation Ground, Shifnal – 2pm-3.55pm

Xtreme Sessions (for 12- to 17-year-olds) are designed to offer young people a variety of activities during the holidays.

Monday 11 April – Dodgeball at Severn Centre, Highley – 1pm-3pm

Tuesday 12 April – Football at Wheatfield Recreation Ground, Shifnal – 1pm-3pm

Wednesday 13 April – Dodgeball at Birchmeadow Centre, Broseley – 1pm-3pm

Thursday 14 April – Dodgeball at Bridgnorth Youth Centre – 1pm-3pm

Friday 15 April – Football at Birchmeadow Park, Broseley – 1pm-3pm

Monday 18 April – Multi-sports at Wheatfield Recreation Ground, Shifnal – 1pm-3pm

Tuesday 19 April – Dodgeball at Albrighton Red House – 1pm-3pm

Wednesday 20 April – Dodgeball at Birchmeadow Centre, Broseley – 1pm-3pm

Thursday 21 April – Multi-sports at Bridgnorth Youth Centre – 1pm-3pm
