Shropshire taxi forums

Shropshire taxi drivers and operators will be able to discuss any issues relating to the Hackney Carriage and Private Hire trade next week (Wednesday 23 February 2011) when three taxi forums are held in the county.

Organised by Shropshire Council’s licensing team, the forums will be held at Shirehall in Shrewsbury, and at the council’s area headquarters at Castle View in Oswestry, and at Corve Street in Ludlow.

Each forum begins at 10.30am.

Licensed drivers are encouraged to attend their local forum to ensure they are kept up-to-date on any changes to the way the licensing service is delivered.

They will be able to find out the latest regarding Shropshire Council’s new taxi licensing policy, which is currently being discussed.

There will also be an opportunity for drivers to meet with the council’s licensing officers and raise any issues that are important to them.
