The Craven Arms and Rural Local Joint Committee (LJC) together with Craven Arms Business Network have an interesting joint meeting planned for Wednesday 11 November 2015 at the Discovery Centre, Craven Arms, starting at 5.30pm.

The main items for discussion will be the new University Centre Shrewsbury and its links to the local economy. There will also be an overview of the new Marches Growth Hub which will include a physical presence as well as web support.

Councillor David Evans, chairman of the LJC, said:

“This is the first time we have held a joint meeting with the Business Network and we hope to see many new faces from the local business community, along with any other residents interested in the topics we are covering.”

The meeting will also have written updates available from the local police, the local flooding team and the Connecting Shropshire broadband project.

Everyone is welcome to attend the meeting and to take part in the discussions. Light refreshments will be available.
