Scenic walk in the Severn Valley to see the signs of Spring
Shropshire Council invites you to join the Outdoor Recreation Service on Wednesday 12 March and discover signs of spring in the Severn Valley on this eight mile walk. The scenic route will set off at 10am and take you past St Peter’s Church and Arley Arboretum. On the return journey we will climb out of the valley and pass Hexton’s Quarry where stone was quarried for the building of Worcester Cathedral.
Please wear walking boots and bring a packed lunch, drink, and waterproofs in case of rain.
Walkers should meet at the Visitor Centre. The walk costs £3 for adults and £1.50 for children and you will need to book in advance. For more information and to book your place, please phone 01746 781192.
