Itea and biscuits at The Birchmeadow Centre in Broseley

Did you know that according to national statistics almost 40% of over 65s aren’t online?

The Birchmeadow Centre in Broseley is hosting a free event to show people just how easy and fun getting online can be as part of Age UK’s annual ‘Itea and biscuits’ campaign.  The campaign aims to demonstrate the benefits of being online to older people.

The event is open to all and will take place at the Birchmeadow Centre between 10am and midday on Thursday 19 September 2013.  There is no need to book, just turn up on the day.  Computers and volunteers will be on hand to demonstrate the wonders of the World Wide Web, and help with any IT queries you may have.

Sessions also run on a regular basis on Thursday mornings other weeks, so if you can’t make this session please feel free to come another time.
