Shropshire Council invites you to join the ranger service and get involved in looking after Severn Valley Country Park at Alveley.

New monthly volunteer work days begin on Sunday 12 May 2013 at 9.30am-12.30pm, and every second Sunday of each month 9.30am-3pm thereafter.

Enjoy a day of practical conservation work with tasks such as woodland management, footpath work and wildflower meadow management, and help to improve the park for the benefit of wildlife and visitors.

People who are interested are asked to phone 01746 781192 to register their interest.

Please bring with you a packed lunch, wear steel toe capped boots and bring waterproof clothing in case of wet weather.

Meet at the Visitor Centre for 9.30am.

The Visitor Centre and Teashop is open every Saturday and Sunday 11am to 4pm.
