Bowbrook, Copthorne and Radbrook LJC meeting on 5 March
The next Bowbrook, Copthorne and Radbrook Local Joint Committee (LJC) meeting is on Tuesday 5 March 2013 at 7pm at The Grapes Pub, Welshpool Road, Bicton Heath, Shrewsbury, SY3 8BH.
The agenda has several topics of local interest.
One of the main concerns for local residents, staff and visitors to the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital and the Redwood Centre is the provision of adequate parking.
Councillor Peter Nutting, the Chair of the LJC, said:
“We have key individuals from the hospital attending the meeting, as well as members of Shropshire Council’s highways team. I hope concerned people take this opportunity to attend the meeting and share their issues with those that can work to resolve them.”
Attendees include Andrew Hughes from the Redwoods Centre; Kevin Aitken, Shropshire Council’s highways manager; Tim Sneddon, Shropshire Council’s environmental maintenance manager; and Chris Needham, Royal Shrewsbury Hospital’s Director of Estates.
Other agenda items include Health Check champions; local policing report; funding updates; and public questions. Information will also be available on Shropshire Council’s scrutiny process.
Please take this opportunity to keep up-to-date on local issues and ask questions about your concerns.
