Get into business with Oswestry Library work club
People thinking of starting up their own business are being encouraged to come and find out more at the Oswestry Library work club session on Friday 15 February 2013 from 10am until 12pm.
There will be representatives from a range of local organisations that can offer advice and support when starting out in business. Many people are unaware that there is so much support available, from helping to take the initial idea forward, to drawing up a business plan and what financial support they can access.
The organisations attending include:
- Shropshire Council’s business support team
- David Clough – Oswestry Market
- Jobcentre Plus
- Oswestry Chamber of Commerce
- Unltd – support for social entrepreneurs
- Women in Rural Enterprise
- Walford and North Shropshire College.
Steve Charmley, Shropshire Council’s Cabinet member responsible for libraries, said:
“Running a business can be a daunting task. This event has been designed to provide support every step of the way. It will provide a fantastic opportunity to find out the latest information from experts in their field and to meet up with fellow business people.”
