Crowdfund Shropshire: there’s still time to apply for funding
Crowdfund Shropshire, a civic fundraising platform where community groups can get their projects funded by public and grant funding, is currently open for applications until Wednesday 2 October 2024.
For this second round of funding, projects can pitch for up to £10,000 from the Shared Prosperity Community Fund (in partnership with VCS team at Community Resource), and up to £20,000 from the Green Spaces and Active Travel Fund (in partnership with Shropshire Wildlife Trust and Energize Shropshire).
Crowdfund Shropshire is being run in partnership with the community fundraising platform Spacehive, which enables local residents to exclusively access funding for community improvement initiatives.
The crowdfunding nature of this programme, in collaboration with council funding, maximises the amount community groups can raise in order to deliver transformational community projects that matter to them.
