Two stretches of A4117 in south Shropshire to be resurfaced
Two stretches of the A4117 in south Shropshire are to be resurfaced in the coming weeks as part of Shropshire Council’s annual resurfacing programme.
The two sets of work are
21 October to 4 November: A4117 Cleobury Mortimer High Street, between Ludlow Road and Church Street
For more information visit the One Network website.
3 to 25 November: A4117 between Station Road, Cleobury Mortimer and Lem Hill
For more information please visit the One Network website.
Both sets of work will have closures and diversions in place between 9.30am to 4pm on weekdays and 7am to 5pm on Saturdays.
During the works, access to businesses and properties within the closure will be maintained. A diversion will be in place for all other traffic.
Every effort will be made to reduce noise and disruption for those nearby.
The work is being carried out by Shropshire Council and its partners in the Shropshire Highways Alliance, Kier and WSP and will improve the roads’ surface and make them safer for all road users.
All planned roadworks are subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. Any changes will be displayed on the yellow advanced warning signs.
