Pub project’s digital skills workshops – new dates for February half term
Are you aged 16-24 and interested in learning new digital media skills while in the pub?
Free places are now available for two hands-on workshops in February and March 2022 for anyone who is interested in expanding their digital media skills in the setting of a historic pub.
During the workshops, participants will join a digital skills expert and learn how to plan, film and edit a social media advert using nothing but your mobile phone.
They will discover the secret ingredients to creating a social media advert, how to storyboard their ideas and effective filming tricks and tips. The session activities all link to the essential digital skills framework, helping to build skills for life.
Workshops are taking place on the following dates:
Planning and Filming:
Tuesday 22 February 10.30am-3.30pm
At the Punchbowl Inn, Bridgnorth
Editing:
Saturday 5 March 10.30am-12.30pm
OR
Saturday 5 March 1.30pm-3.30pm
At Shrewsbury Museum & Art Gallery
The first workshops will take place at the Punchbowl Inn in Bridgnorth which is one of Shropshire’s heritage pub gems and over 700 years old. Today The Punchbowl Inn retains many of its original characteristics and offers a warm welcome to all its guests.
As part of the sessions a £10 travel voucher and lunch will be provided, as well as the opportunity to join us for an online premier of the finished films.
