More than 208,000 people in the county have now received at least one COVID-19 vaccination.

This week saw people in the 55-59 age category invited to book their vaccination appointment/s. We are expecting the 50-54 cohort to open up next week, with the ambition that all our over 50s will receive at least their first vaccination by the end of March 2021.

If you have been offered a vaccination chance, please take it up; to not only protect yourself and everyone else, but our NHS as well.

Rebecca Warren, Clinical Lead Nurse for the vaccination centre at The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (RJAH) has been on the frontline during the battle against COVID-19.

Rebecca is encouraging us all to get vaccinated, not only to protect both yourself and everyone else, but also her hard-working colleagues at the NHS.
