The StrettonDale Local Joint Committee (LJC) has an interesting meeting planned for Thursday 25 February 2016 at 7pm in the Silvester Horne Institute.

ShropDoc and Shropshire Council’s Big Conversation are top of the agenda.

A representative from the Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) will be in attendance to give an overview of ShropDoc and its future. Shropshire Councillors will also give an overview of the results from the Big Conversation consultation recently undertaken by Shropshire Council.

Representatives from the police covering the parishes north of Church Stretton will also be present to update on their work and answer questions.

Tim Barker, chairman of the LJC, said:

“The future of ShropDoc is a main talking point for local residents, as is the future direction of Shropshire Council. Come along to find out more on these important topics.”

The meeting will also include a brief update on youth commissioning in the area, local information from the flood team, the Connecting Shropshire broadband project, and news and events from the parishes that form the LJC.

Everyone is welcome to attend the meeting and to take part in the discussions.
