“Boys Dancing” is a regional project which develops and celebrates dance for boys and young men, providing them with the challenge, exhilaration, discipline and fun of making and sharing dance.

“Boys Dancing” is a finalist in the National Lottery Awards’ Best Arts project category.

During the last four years hundreds of boys and young men from Shropshire, led by a team of professional artists and Shropshire Council’s Arts Service, have participated, choreographed and performed in live dance pieces and films.

Please support Boys Dancing by voting for free at www.lotterygoodcauses.org.uk/project/boys-dancing or ring 0844 836 967.

The Awards aim to celebrate and recognise the difference Lottery-funded projects have made to people, places and communities all across the UK.  The winners will receive a National Lottery Award trophy and a £2,000 cash prize.

The award would help us secure further funding for “Boys Dancing” in the region and give the project the recognition it deserves.

Voting is open until Wednesday 23 July 2014.
