Guided walk around New England and Billingsley

Severn Valley Country Park in Alveley is running a guided walk around New England and Billingsley on Thursday 14 November 2013 at 4pm.

Shropshire Council invites you to join the ranger service on a 10-mile guided walk taking in riverside walks, through woodlands and across farmland, before returning to the park.  We will visit the old mining hamlet of New England and pass the remains of colliery buildings at Billingsley.  Please bring a packed lunch, walking boots and waterproof clothing.

Meet at the Visitor Centre and Teashop, open Saturdays and Sundays 11am to 4pm, and every day during school holidays.
