Winter Warmer event in Oswestry

Landlord Services and Shropshire Community Council are joining forces to put on an event to help people get access to cheaper energy, on Wednesday 23 January 2013 at 10am – 2pm.  There will also be other information stands there, including:

  • Sustain (supported housing in north Shropshire)
  • Housing benefit direct payment
  • Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service
  • Marches Energy Agency
  • Credit union
  • The Qube

It is a free, drop-in session, held at the Council Chamber, Oswestry (next to the library).

Mal Price, Shropshire Council Cabinet member, said:

“Information on how to consider switching energy suppliers and save money, along with other information that most benefits people on low incomes, is available at this drop-in session, and I encourage everyone with free time to come along.”
