Disability sports provision
Shropshire Council’s leisure services team are currently conducting a survey on disability sports provision. The team are keen to seek the public’s views on what the current landscape looks like for disability sport in Shropshire, but more importantly find out where the gaps are.
Please complete one of the following surveys. If you consider yourself to have a disability please complete the following – http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/DisabilitySport
Please complete the following survey if you are a club/organisation – http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/ShropshireSportsClubSurvey
If you would like hard copy of the survey, please contact leisure services on 01743 255071.
Once the survey has finished we will gather the feedback, which will help us decide how provision can be improved for people with a disability.
Steve Charmley, Shropshire Council’s Cabinet member for health and well-being, said:
“We are keen to hear from as many people as possible on what the current provision for disability sport is, but equally as important where the gaps are. We want to build on the current disability sport provision in the county, and we can only do this by listening to what the public are telling us.”
