Planning for our future

Shropshire needs thousands of new homes and new employment land to help create jobs, and we want to talk about the plans for your area.

Shropshire Council has already been talking to town and parish councils over the past couple of years about how many homes they would like to be built in their area, and some proposed sites for development are now out for consultation.

It’s all part of the Site Allocations and Management of Development (SAMDev) Plan, which sets out the priorities for Shropshire up to 2026.
