Under 5s Museum Fun at Shrewsbury Museum

Shrewsbury Museum and Art Gallery is to continue its series of mini workshops for pre-school children, their parents and carers, following the success of the first workshop in May 2011.

“Under 5s’ Museum Fun” is a monthly event full of songs, stories and activities for pre-school children.  It takes place at Shrewsbury Museum and Art Gallery in Rowley’s House on the second Wednesday of every month during term times.

The next dates are Wednesday 8 June and Wednesday 13 July, both starting at 10.30am.

Each session will focus on different parts of the museum collection and link them with a fun-filled children’s programme.  The June workshop will be dedicated to “Bugs and Butterflies” and will take place in the geology gallery.

Sessions last 30 minutes and are free.  Pre-booking is required as places are limited.
