“It was an absolute pleasure for our board to host the tour and showcase to the Housing Supervisory Board our current developments and our pipeline sites.

“The Housing Supervisory Board also approved our 2022 business plan, which puts CDL on a firm footing to achieving our target of constructing 728 homes for local people by 2031.”

“As well as helping meet housing need in Shropshire, CDL fulfils other Shropshire Council objectives such as sustainability, low-cost home ownership and key worker housing. It is also committed to regenerating brownfield sites.

“The Housing Supervisory Board took in six sites where CDL will be offering sustainable homes in a range of styles to appeal to a broad market, and it was an excellent opportunity for the company to showcase its values and homes.”

The Frith in Shrewsbury is the most advanced CDL development to date. It comprises of 33 properties, with a range of two, three and four-bedroom homes with a build value of £4.5m.

With modern living and future energy efficiency in mind, the properties are built with 31% higher energy standards than your average new build home. The homes also benefit from solar panels and have increased insulation.
