Local residents can find out more about the proposed transfer of Shropshire Council services and assets in the Bayston Hill area, when the Bayston Hill Local Joint Committee meets on Tuesday 15 November.

Information will be provided on the proposed changes to the library service, and to the maintenance and management of Lyth Hill.

The meeting is being held at Bayston Hill Methodist Church Hall, Lansdowne Road, starting at 7pm.

There will also be an update on the proposed Oakland Glebeland development, and Severn Trent will be on hand to explain sewer pipeline works that may have a temporary impact on Bayston Hill.

There will be updates on Bayston Hill’s Community-led Plan, and from the local policing Safer Neighbourhoods Team.

And there will be time for people to ask questions and raise points about Shropshire Council, and about issues that are important to them and their community.

Councillor Ted Clarke, Chair of the LJC, said:

“I encourages local residents to come along to the meeting as it offers a great opportunity to find out and share information on matters that are important to Bayston Hill.”
