Call for funding applications from Highley LJC

Voluntary groups and organisations in Highley have a last opportunity to submit their funding applications by Friday 31 January 2014, in time for the second round of the Local Joint Committee (LJC)’s funding allocation. 

Groups and organisations wishing to submit an application for funding should send a completed application form to Shropshire Council’s community action officer, Tracy Johnson, Shropshire Council, Cantern Brook, Stanley Lane, Bridgnorth, WV16 4SF. 

Applications received for this round of funding allocation will be considered at the LJC meeting on Wednesday 26 February 2014 at 7pm at Severn Centre, Highley. 

Shropshire Councillor David Tremellen, Chairman of Highley LJC, said:

“The LJC would like to hear from local groups within Highley, especially those groups which have projects in the planning stages and those who have not applied for funding before.”
